Submitted documents to VFS for EC today

Post by andy2007 » Thu Dec 20, 2007 7:04 am

Hi All,

I submitted my papers to VFS for EC today. Following is complete list of documents:
Out of these docs, VFS refused to accept original driving license saying we do not accept that. I had submitted that as additional proof of age.Luckily I had original birth certificate. I submitted that.

Hope this list too helps people preparing for EC.

Regards,
Andy

EC applied today

Post by rocky » Thu Dec 20, 2007 1:17 pm

Hi Everybody,

I applied for EC this morning and provided with all the initial HSMP docs and additionally

1> submitted recent 3months payslips & original offer letter
2> Bank Statement for the current year (Jan 07 to Dec 18th 2007)
3> IT returns for 2006-2007, xerox copy of my driving license as they didnt accept original license.
4> CA declaration
I own a flat which is on my husbands as well as my name (JOINT OWNER) i have shown that as an investment its worth 25,38,999 worth app 32000 GBP as of Aug06 and today its worth around 39,00,000. shown gold worth Rs. 100,000 and bank balance worth 2600 GBP. So in all i showed liquid and immovable property worth GBP. 37,106.
5> Flat agreement copy
6> Tenancy agreement of my friend who is already in UK on HSMP since 2years. (Proof of invitation to accomodation)
7> His passport copy with copies of his work permit page.
8> Hotel booking confirmation as well for a month near the airport
9> Responses for job adverts.
10>Also I have been job in one of our branches in UK by my current boss. (This I have mentioned in the EC form)

11> However there is one issue :- my HSMP claim period IS SEPT'06 TO Aug'07 during this period I had changed my job in Jan'07 therefore had shown earnings from 2companies

Company1- from (1st Sept'07 to 21st Jan'07)
Company2- 22nd Jan onwards.

Now my salary in company1 was higher than my recent company, and there was a deduction of Rs.17000 everymonth as I had taken a loan from the company. (This I have got it written on my employer letter)
Guys, now just need to know if this wud create any issue that the salary in my previous company was higher than my current company
The reason behind taking up a lower salary offer was only a brand entity and financial service market knowledge.

Guys plz give me some info has anybody faced such kind of a problem?

Thanks in advance.
Rocky

Hi Rocky,

Looks like you too did not submit your Original Driving Lic. I think we need to closely watch our cases.

Btw I have written to the BDHC today the following mail:
=========================================

Dear Madam/Sir,

This is with reference to my Entry Clearance (EC) application under HSMP provision.

I understand that while assessing EC applications under HSMP provision the EC Officer re-valuates the points claimed by the applicant under various sections of HSMP. To assist this process my intentions were to submit (with my EC application) the set of documents that I had sent to Home Office(with my HSMP application). The VFS representative at the VFS-UK Mumbai North Office refused to accept my driving license in original. Hence I would request the EC Officer to please consider my original passport as the evidence against the points claimed under "age section" in my HSMP application.

Secondly I would like to bring to your kind attention is that I have submitted a covering letter with my EC application. I have tried to explain all the documents/evidences that I have provided with my application. Accordingly I had arranged all the documents as per the order explained in my covering letter.

But the VFS representative insisted that I submit the documents in the order that he is prescribing. I pointed out that in this case my covering letter will not be relevant to my application. The VFS representative stated that "Covering letter is not a significant document and I doubt if anyone will even read it".

Hence I would request you to please excuse the inconsistancy between the order of documents as mentioned in my covering letter and the way they appear with the application.

I look forward to you evaluation of my EC application.

Thanking you.

Sincerely,
=========================================

Cheers!
CD

Hi Friends,I am planning to apply for HSMP latest by Feb 08 & I have few queries regarding the whole process:-
1.Is the application process single for both HSMP & EC,I mean do I need to submit all the doc. in one go for both the process at VFS?
2.How long does it take nowadays to get the HSMP approal & afterwards final EC?
3.Total INR 17K is required to be submitted at VFS,after that what amount need to be paid for EC?
4.Proof of Potentiality for earning after landing:
a) As I am into Manufacturing Engineering, chances of getting offer from any employer from the UK is very less unless you are in the UK with requisite official doc e.g.,EC,LtR et all.In that case,is there any chance of being rejected by HO?
5.My degree certificate is having some spelling mistake in my name whereas the provisional one issued by the college is OK.I discussed on this issue with VFS,they said that I can submit the provisional one & also reveal at the same time the problem with the degree certficate.Even I can attach the Degree Certificate along with Provisional One.Kindly share if any one of you have ever experienced this kind of circumstance?
6.How far the bank balance does hold a significance in decision of HO?As I have no immovable property like flat or jewellery & no stock/MF et all.Only earning from previous 15 months helps me to fetch the max 45 points in earning category.

Pleas reply..
