Another thing my case was very complicates
It was my solicitor who was with me all the way
Some solocitors let you get on with it
But my solicitor helped me to speak to nmy MP
Wrote letters every week
Emailed them
As some people on this site havnt even been
Given a court date for months and i pray they be
Reunited with their spouses
If it was just left to me i would still be waiting
And yes my solicitor even got HMRC involved
And they also helped, my solicitor got all those involved
On which the spouse visa was refused
All gave letters and proof
Against the refusel reasons
My solicitor was determind to get my spouse visa
Yes i did get my visa refusel overturned because of my case
But more to thanks to my solicitor
For his help and determination
How much fee did your solicitor charge you for doing everything?
I.need. Help
My solicitor charged £500 day fee
Letter writing and email £30
Phone calls £35
Visa got refused in november 2015
So from december 2015 to the day visa was overturned
I have been paying my solicitor these fees
can u plz post ur time line and reason of refusel as i also appealed in December
becoz u only wrote email recived

when they will implement this? Immigration is becoming a profitable business for UK..first charge huge immigrations fees and health surcharges and then refuse application on silly basis to earn this money from appeal process..lol

Hi everyone just an update on my case I have now got my court date it is 03/10/16 just over 1 year from the date it was listed would have been in September but I requested they change this as I am going to Pakistan from July until mid Sept to stay with my husband. I am really looking forward to my day in court as some will remember one of my refusals was my step-dad has no status in this country and is not a British citizen he has nothing to do with as he is not the sponsor I am, well I do have his nationalization certificate and his British passport but they say its fake I even have the picture of him with the queens rep accepting his cert everything but one I can prove so not worried there, what I am asking people is the only other part is they now say they don't believe that I have a genuine marriage even though I have stay in Pakistan for several weeks at a time over 5 yrs anyone else been to court and had their or know anyone had their appeal allowed for refusal for this not the bit about my step dad as I know I can prove that without a shadow of doubt just want to go prepared for the other part Thanks

Sister fitst of all congratulations for getting hearing date.
But do correct me if I'm wrong at 22/09/15 , Tribunal send you the Notice of pending appeal with 15 weeks review deadline. Then how your case could be listed for court in September.
Tribunal takes around 4 to 6 weeks to post notice of hearing .
Am I right ?
What's your review deadline ?
May Allah give you success in this hard time. Ameen

Hi my review deadline was 6/11/15 I got to know it was listed for court via my MP if you are going for an appeal it can take up to 12 months to get a court date from when it was listed for court not from the date you appeal some do get it quicker they are the lucky ones it can take up to 10 working days to get an answer from the judge and if they give entry clearance it is up to 4 weeks to get a call to hand in your passport and then they have up to 8 weeks to process your visa long time I know but then you at least know you spouse has a visa. If you have just been refused my advise is don't keep thinking about it hard I know as waiting seems to go on forever it get really makes you feel upset and feel down even depressed but if you look at it in this way with the exception of finance (this is one they won't give a visa on if you don't meet £18600 except if it is a mistake and you can prove it) anything else they can, if everything they say about not giving a visa you can prove them wrong on you will most likely win as they can only ask about what you were refused on ie if you need 2 beds and you only have 1 then move and they refuse on accommodation and then you move to a 2 bed prove this to the court you would win they cannot then ask about other things as you weren't refused on any other grounds. so accept that you will have to wait about 12mths for a court date so altogether about 18mths or reapply but do not let it eat away at you as it can really get you feeling down and hopefully you will be reunited with loved ones stay strong keep faith and support each other through what can be a very difficult time for some.

Also I did say I was prepared to travel anywhere in the UK to get a hearing before I go to Pakistan on 14th July and was told and I quote that It is not possible to "shop around" for a court I have to go where they give me and it is nearest court to your home within their timescale I ask what their timescale was and they said they don't have one by law it by the amount of appeals at that time and at the minute it is 12mths from being listed for court, so if your are appealing when it does not get overturned ask when the decision was made and then you will know roughly when your court date will be and if you get one sooner then you are lucky it is also worth noting but do not get your hopes up that the ECM can still withdraw their decision right up to going into court but this is rare. Just get into the mind set that you may have to wait 1yr anything less is a bonus and then don't forget it is up to 3mths after you have won your appeal. What I really want to know is does anyone know of anyone who has had their visa granted when ECO don't believe you have a genuine and sustaining relationship and how did they prove it what questions they were asked by the judge it just seems stupid to me as people are married for years but live total separate lives they just plod along in what can be unhappy relationships. plus without being prejudice there are some arranged marriage were the people have only just met what do ECO say to them double standards on ECO part or total lack of cultural standard and beliefs.
