If I slip into the 28 days grace period and make a successful application, will I have any complication when applying for ILR in future?

Under current rules, overstay of 28 days or less is ignored. What the rules may be when you become eligible for settlement is anyone's guess.

Again, If I apply for my Tier 2 before the expiry date and in worst case if it gets rejected will I have a chance/right to appeal and how many days will I have?

You will be able to request for an administrative review.

Am I allowed to make an application at one of the Visa Premium Service Centres for same day decision within the 28 days grace period? Or I'm only allowed to use the postal service for my application?

Guys,

My current Tier 2 General visa expires on May 9 and I will be getting the CoS from my new employer only on May 9 because of RLMT process.

So, Is it possible to book an appointment now for same day premium service for May 9(last appointment)and provide the CoS details on the day in person (without filling CoS details on the application)? Please advise.
