ILR 10 years long residence- Post or Premium service?

Post by Rebekah14 » Fri Apr 29, 2016 10:56 am

Hi,

I am planning to apply for ILR based on 10 years long residence any time from June 2016. Currently I am holding Tier 1 / Entrepreneur/ visa. I just wondering whether to use Post or Premium service?
Lawful residence is not broken. My family members are on dependant visa / 4/and will apply later.

2006-2012 Student visa
2012-2014 PSW visa
2014- 2017 Tier 1 / Entrepreneur/ visa

Would it be count as complicated case or straight forward?

Appreciate your advice.

You can apply in person provided you meet all the standard requirements.

Your dependents will have to apply for FLR(M) and it will be a new 5 year route to ILR (unless they are close to 10 years long residence themselves).

Thank you!!! for your prompt reply.

Family members / kids/ are planning to apply based long residence separately. Can they use SET ( LR) form even though they are under age of 18?

I read in the forum lots of issue related to company tax reporting. My concern is would they delay the processing on order to check company tax paper works ? Should I provide anything related to company tax? Even thought my base is 10 years long residence.

SET LR application form seems quite straight forward.

Many thanks

Applying for ILR based on long residence does not exempt you from HO checking your tax and income history and whether you have complied with all the conditions of visas you have held.

If you have no discrepancies, then nothing to worry about.

Set(LR) for each member of your family separately.

Hi Rebekah,

I have a very similar situation to yours. I was wondering whether you were able to apply for the same day premium service and if you got a swift and a favourable result.
I am confused because on the gov.uk website, visa premium centre section - sub section 7, it states that you cannot use the premium service if you are ''a business person, innovator, sole representative or investor''.
I am a business person. So does this mean I cannot apply at the premium centre?

Regards and thanks.
