RRR help and what next

Post by shahzebsaeed » Sat Apr 30, 2016 7:37 pm

The situation here is me and my wife (EEA citizen) have mutually decided to end the marriage for the good of both of us, we will be applying for divorce soon. Now I've found the information regarding RRR which is looking good as we have been married for 4 years and 3 months out of which I've spent 3 years and 10 months together in UK (no gaps), she has been working part time since 2009 so she has been exercising her treaty rights. I have all the proof of maintaining a sustained relationship (payslips P45 Tenancy Agreement, Bank Statement, 100s of other official letters pics) and she has agreed to help me as much as she can.

My RC is supposed to expire in Jan 2018, if I do get RRR how long is it usually for and what step should I take next towards PR? For PR I have a gap of 2 months of employment in 2014 and my PR clock actually starts from June 2012. I know I am jumping the gun however according to the rules my case is looking good however I am not sure how long the Divorce process will take when both parties pretty much have agreed to end the relationship, she will continue working during the this period.

Thank You
