After age 49 you loose points on your application

Post by Canadiancitizen » Tue Jan 01, 2008 12:47 pm

Be aware that.............There is no upper age limit on applications to come to Canada, BUT you DO loose points on your application after you reach age 49. The farther past that age you are the fewer points you get to wards the needed 67 point total, to even be Considered, never mind be accepted to come to Canada.

Why do we have such a system? To encourage people who are going to be in the Canadian work force for at least 20 to 30 more years, to pay taxes and be productive workers. We want younger people with a full work life ahead of them.
