We have applied for our first FLR (M) Visa. My wife came here on a fiancée visa. You would think they would have an online application by now for the amount of money you pay and a tracking system.

Submitted application on the: 14/03/2016
Arrived at HO on the :15/03/2016
Fees taken :21/03/2016
Biometrics and acknowledgement letter: 24/03/2016
Submitted Biometrics: 24/03/2016
Documents received : waiting
BRP received : waiting

We also received another letter (on the same day as the biometrics letter) to say that we forgot to sign section 9.21 which basically says that we are applying for a Biometric Card. Funnily enough the same paragraph is included on the section 15 where we signed as well. If they had an online application it would avoid having to sign 5 times for the same thing. There shouldn't be any reason for the delay as I divided everything in plastic envelopes to make it easy for them.

The only thing I can think of is the bank holidays or they are just too slow.

Yes it does look like they are slowing down :( My timeline is as below:

Submitted application: 19/03/2016
Arrived at HO: 21/03/2016
Fees taken:24/03/2016
Biometrics letter (no acknowledgement) received: 05/04/2016 (sent the previous day)
Letter asking for additional payment received: 05/04/2016
Submitted Biometrics and additional payment: 05/04/2016
Documents received : waiting
BRP received : waiting

Unfortunately I didn't realise that the fees had increased on the 18th of March (I checked it on the 17th but did not see any news about an increase in fees) so I had to wait for the letter asking for additional payment.

JAYSON65, I hope you get a confirmation soon!

Hi all, this is probably one of the most frustrating tedious experience ever, I personally not a fan of the waiting game at all, but I suppose once you receive the positive outcome, it makes it worth so much more..
From my personal experience, I feel I have to share some advice, if, as in my case, you receive your documents before the BRP, contact DX Delivery as soon as, its a long holding process but once you through, with your name and address details, find out when it's scheduled for delivery and give them your phone number and ask for your tracking number. Otherwise you could really drive yourself crazy with an additional uncertain waiting period.
I received my documents last week Thursday, by Saturday I thought to just call DX, very friendly and helpful, told me it was scheduled for the 03/05 Tuesday, given the bank holiday on Monday... So on Tuesday I waited in all day, by 16:30 I went online to check my status, it said my parcel was returned as they could not access my property. Turns out the Slough driver pressed the wrong buzzer and obviously not bothered, didn't take a 2nd look... So I called again rescheduled for the next day with my phone number.. And waited in until 16:55...and finally got it... Hope this helps.. Good luck to everyone waiting..

Thanks JAYSON65 and Daku :) Yes maybe try giving them a call? 8 weeks is a long time...

I'm still waiting for my BRP. I've emailed DX Delivery but they said that they don't have any outstanding parcels for me, so I will have to keep waiting :(

Hi all,

Hoping for some help as I am waiting for my BRP.

Me & my husband applied in person and got accepted. Was told we would receive in 7 working days. It is now 11 working days and while my husband has received his BRP, I have not received mine.

Has anyone else had this issue? Should I be expecting mine to be coming soon? I'm wondering what other people's average waiting time for BRPs have been lately.

Thanks!

Hi npkinawi1024, I'm still waiting for my BRP and it's the 4th day today. I've called DX Delivery and they don't have anything outstanding for me so it's unlikely i'll receive anything today. :(

Hi, it was the 5th working day yesterday but still no sign of my BRP. I called DX this morning and they don't have anything for me so I'm unlikely to receive it on Monday.

Is anyone else still waiting for their BRPs?
