OCI under process close to 42 days

Hi,

I have applied OCI for my daughter of her own, it is very straight foreword, even VFS counter said, it is pretty easy and should be processed within 2 weeks but it is close to 42 days and no communication and status is still under process.

Date applied - 24-03-2016
Acknowledgement - 30-03-2016
Doc received - Within 1 week
Status - Under process

I contacted OCI through mail, but it is same answer that it will take its own time and we do not have any control.

Can any one suggest me what to do and what is the contact details to actually enquire about OCI with HCI.

HCI doesn't process OCI applications, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs does.
Once received from MOIA, HCI only stamps the OCI booklet and passes it on to VFS for onward delivery.
