Travelling without OCI

Post by karg_g » Thu May 05, 2016 6:10 am

Friends

Has anybody (especially for kids/minors/babies) had travelled to India using their OCI receipt alone? I am awaiting my baby's British Passport, and have made travel plans end of June.

I will apply for OCI ASAP once i get my baby's British passport. However, i am curious if anybody had any luck recently travelling without OCI, but just with an receipt? I will carry my baby's birth certificate along with our marriage certificate.

We all hold Indian passport, and have ILR
I try to give honest answers, however I might be wrong, kindly always check with your solicitor/accountant for final confirmation
