settlement visa

Post by ILR1980 » Mon Apr 18, 2016 1:24 am

I am filling this form on behalf of my wife and in family section they ask question about dependent children and whether they are travelling with her and then this question

Does this child currently live with you? If not, please enter their address below

I said yes but still they ask for address and dont let me save/exit without entering the address which should be in case of NO as per guide line

4.18 Do all your children currently live with you at the address
given in question 3.1?
Answer Yes/No. If no please provide full details of where your children
not living with you are currently living.

why they are asking for address in case of Yes as well?

Child settlement Visa4UK onlineform Under 18 section

Post by ILR1980 » Thu Apr 21, 2016 2:59 am

There are two questions in there when you try to fill under 18 section of child settlement visa form online

Are you staying at a private address in the UK?

Did answer yes as my 6 month old will be staying with me in uk

then come next question

Who are you staying with in the UK?
answer is simple father but funny thing is that there is almost all relationship out there in drop down menu of relationship except father..even they have stepfather and grandfather in there..Why those who make this form are so stupid to not include father in the list of relationship? now what i should do? anyone applied or can answer?

Supporting evidence older than 28 days

Post by ILR1980 » Tue Apr 26, 2016 6:07 am

My question is which date is considereded date of application in order for them to count the wages paysips/bank statement/employer letter/house inspection letter as outdated i.e older than 28 days?

Is it date of application when you try to fill online form? Date when you pay fees/ihs charges which could be after weeks of starting online application or date when applicant do entrol biometric and submit passports? I tried google and search feature of immigration board but cannot get relevant information. I startred application in 13 april and still could not pay fees because they decline twice so just want to make sure my supporting document dont get outdated

Date of entry clearance application is the date you pay the application fee.
See When you’ll need an IHS reference number

Thanks geriatrix. I have read all these details before starting the application. No where it say that a child under 16 applying under visa Route: Settlement - Child or dependant of settled is exempted from paying IHS and i started two application and they boht calculated IHS surchage Zero with above message and even issue IHS refrence. I am sure if i go further to pay for visa fees then application will be rejected without any fault of mine

Maybe there's a technical glitch? Give it a few days and check again.

I thought so even though had no problem of paying IHS surcharge for wife. I gave it another try today by making fresh application for kids from another email address and guess what its same Pakistani Rupee 0 and message " Exempt based on being under 16 and applying under visa Route: Settlement - Child or dependant of settled" really frustrating . This time i have captured screen as well as a proof

I even came to know that UK Immigration visa refunded IHS Surcharge to some applicants whose kids were under 16 even when they paid it initially so dont know what to do as stuck in there

Re: Appendix 2 Form, Spouse and Child

Post by ILR1980 » Mon May 02, 2016 1:35 am

I am also confuse on this. Some people are suggesting one appendix 2 form if kids are applying together with migrant wife/husband and others are saying that need to fill Appendix 2 for mother and every child applicant which dont make any sense to me when you fill this APPENDIX 2 on behalf of kids as most questions will not make any sense as they are relevant to partner or spouse..

Is there anyone who can clarify it further?

It is likely exactly the same place. One is a street address and one is a PO Box address.
