Eligibility for British citizenship

Post by vikramb84 » Thu May 05, 2016 10:07 pm

Hi all, just looking for a refresh on this topic, post all immigration changes etc. My wife has been on a dependent ILR (on me) since Dec 2014 (so 1.5yrs). Prior to that, she was on a Tier 2 general visa for ~3years. I am now a British citizen - so would she be eligible to apply for citizenship (as the spouse of a citizen)? Thanks in advance!

Can you clarify that she has been granted ILR?
(Casa, not CR001)

Changing to ILR Dependent - FLR(M) - would have reset her clock for ILR anyway if she was previously the main applicant/visa holder on Tier 2 General.
Char (CR001 not Casa)

If CR001's assumption is correct then ILR and BC - Dec. 2019 or after.
