Schengen visa with 4 months remaining in UK Residence Permit

I have four months left on my tier 2 visa(valid till 03/09/16) and i wish to travel to a few schengen states in july'16. Would i be granted a schengen visa if I apply now and travel in july(i would have less than 3 months left on my UK visa in july)?

Hi! Your UK visa must be valid for more than 3 months AFTER your planned return date from the Schengen area. So I'm afraid you can't get the Schengen visa from the UK unless you extend your British residence permit.

I can only extend my brp 28 before the expiry of the current one as my work contract has been extended till september 2017.
