Urgent: Traveling without BRP, Previous visa still valid.

I need some urgent advice regarding traveling outside the UK without BRP.

I applied for a Tier 2 Extension, which has been approved and I have received my passport and approval letter from UKVI. As I understand, BRP will be mailed separately and generally takes anywhere between 3-7 (or a maximum of 10) working days to arrive.

I have a critical meeting outside the UK next week. My previous Tier 2 entry clearance is still valid until End of June. Is it possible for me to travel to France and return back to UK before I receive my BRP (just in case I dont receive it until next Monday)? I couldnt find any information/link(s) on UKBA website(s) which can help with this question.

I am wondering the same thing. We waited 10 working days & still haven't received it & have a trip coming up. My current visa doesn't expire until next year.
