Every application is different and will be decided on its own merits. There is no exact time frame on how long it will take for you to hear back from HO. The guideline is around 6-8 weeksshaf2008 wrote:Hi All,

Your BRP and letter arrive together and your documents arrive separately.sm12 wrote:To all the people who have heard back from the Home Office, did your decision letter arrive with or separately from the documents?
They used to send the BRPs with secure post but it seems they cut back on that. Now letter and BRP are sent together and documents are send separatelysm12 wrote:Thank you for your reply, Zimba.
Last time with initial application, I got the letter with the documents and the BRP arrived on its own, so I guess the process has changed.

If you applied for your visa before the expiry date and then HO refused your application after that date, your leave will be extended by section 3C automatically forsm12 wrote:Thank you Zacklee.
Does anyone know if section 3c applies to end of AR even if AR is refused?
