Thanks, Stefan! Any reason you think it's taking so long in your case? Do you think your case is quite complex?
Yeah I remember reading that requesting your documents may slow down the processStefan7 wrote:salmintin wrote:Stefan7 wrote:Hello

I have no idea. I got everything they needed. Working since 2006 and have the same employer since 2008, living at the same address and didn't leave the country for more than 2 weeks at the time. I don't know what's going on. Somebody said earlier maybe is requesting the documents back messing up everything and the case ends up on the bottom of the pile again.
I have applied at the 24 of Feb and still haven't received it. I haven't requested documents back. I think it also depends on case worker. Last week the case worker called my office in order to confirm my employment. I don't know which stage is but clearly they are investigating.salmintin wrote:Yeah I remember reading requesting your documents may slow down the processStefan7 wrote: I have no idea. I saw that people who applied at the beginning of March started receiving responses so maybe you (and I) will get it soon. Keep us updated
Takes too long but I will let you know if anything happens.VinGam wrote:I have applied at the 24 of Feb and still haven't received it. I haven't requested documents back. I am on 79 days now.
thanks for ur update.Sagbidze wrote:My thanks to everyone on this forum. Your contributions have been very helpful through out my application process. Much of the advice I received on this forum is what has resulted in good results. My time frame as a non-EEA family member as follows:
Application for PR made :30/6/2015
COA received with right to work : 30/7/2015
Application unsuccessful and all documents sent back: 01/12/2015
Appeal lodged : 13/12/2016
Court responds asking for grounds of appeal 26/2/2016
Ground of appeal statement sent 4/3/2016
Appeal allowed 30/3/2016
Letter from home office sent requesting for my passport : 11/4/2016
Passport sent 14/4/2016
PR received 12/05/2016 - recorded mail
Passport returned 12/05/2016 - Royal Mail signed for.
I applied as my husband was self employed. Home office stated we did not send business bank statements etc even though we sent tax returns and proof of NI and receipt.
In the appeal, we sent business bank statement from 2009 - 2015, business lease, statement of account 2010 - 2015 , more and more receipts.
For those still waiting, just be patient, get all the required documents and write a quality grounds of appeal statement.
Wish you guys the best and hope yours come through soon.
Up to 6 months depends with your case, and also if u are an EEA national takes less (mim 8 weeks, max 6 months) than someone who's non-eea national (mim 4/5 months, max 6 months) as I said depends your case and of course depends your case worker too!saikou wrote:Hi everyone how long application tak in home office thanks
Thank you for replyLoryAndra wrote: Hi,
When I filled in my form I wrote exactly as requested.
1.3 Full name as on my identity card including surname, first and middle name
1.4 only my surname
Payment: the full name : surname, first and middle name.
What do you mean you couldn't work for a few weeks? Were you on medical? If so, this shouldn't be an issues. You need anyway a letter from the employer for each period /job you had and as far as I know the medical leave is irrelevant.

Are you applying for BC now? I thought typically people did a SAR and sent the application along with the papers they received. I may be wrongVinGam wrote:Thanks!salmintin wrote: Congratulations and thanks for your update, VinGam Take care
Now I have to find out when they write down my status. I will try to call them today, if they don't want to tell me I will do Subject Access Request.

Timeline has been a bit unstable in the latest months due the amount of request they are receiving.Bumble wrote:Hi,
Days since documents sent: 38
I am yet to receive an email confirmation or any other response. I am within normal time limits for receiving the PR, so not too concerned about that, but it would seem most applicants on forum has received an email by this time. Should I worry about the missing email? Has anyone received their PR without receiving an email?
Thanks in advance.
Thank you. I will sit on my hands for a bit longer and hopefully something arrives in next week or soVinGam wrote:Timeline has been a bit unstable in the latest months due the amount of request they are receiving.Bumble wrote:Hi,

My email came on the average during that time (in February was around 20days, now it is around 30 days).
My application took 80 days. February average was 60 days though. It all depends on case worker and document you submitted.
