Dont know...my HR refused to entertain integra..its policy to give no details of current employees...just crossed fingers..I keep checking on email and phone...' your passport under verification' they say they dont know about integra....i dont understand what is there to verify in a passport...

I got my EC along with my spouse, stamped for 2 years starting January 15th, 2008.

My timelines:

Applied at Mumbai VFS: Friday, 14th December
Integra call: Monday, 24th December
Received Stamped Passport: Friday, 4th January

Stamped for 2 years, starting 15th January, 2008

Hi guys,

This is what the VFS website says about my EC application:

"Your application is ready for collection; please visit the UK Visa Application Centre where you submitted your visa application to collect the same 04 Jan 2008"

In case of approvals I have seen that the website says "PASSPORT" not "APPLICATION"....I think I am just imagining things in this pessimistic drive.

Damnnn! I didn't see it earlier in the day else could have collected my passport from VFS. Now will have to wait over the weekend to know what my destiny!!!

Timelines

Applied on 19th Dec
Integra Call/Mail on 27th Dec
Integra Mail reply on 31st Dec
Decision on 4th Jan
Will collect the passport on 7th Dec

dont worry , am sure the result would be good - i think you could have also called them today evening - even though the work timings are mentioned as till 3 pm ; they are open for enquiries if you go down there or call up till about 6 pm

all the best ; do relax till monday.

i think you also had applied for HSMP around the same time i had - you got approval late october too right ?

its not that mumbai deputy high commission is working fast. my file is there since a month - 17 working days. today i come to know that decision has been taken on my file but they are sorry that they have not dispatch file yet. god knows what does it mean??!!!
btw how can one see status on vfs site??

Vidya: I got my HSMP approval on 21st Nov

Guess this Chennai division of BHC got a huge backlog,as many of HSMP applications are from software applicants based in bangalore and chennai..My timelines are

Applied at Chennai vfs on 17th december

Integra called me on 21st to get employment id no.

Integra Verification over,and decision yet to be made-4th jan

Steve mark- Those people have a seperate file number for each of our case and they quote it in all of their mail conversations.Even i have got a mail reply quoting some reference number..So Nothing to worry about it.

Congrats for all others who got their EC..and Cheers for our waiting gang!!

Just a small doubt ,forgive me if its silly..If i have got my HSMP letter by september and am granted 2 year visa from jan, when should i apply for my HSMP extension after i go there?Many say HSMP will be given only for 12 months initially and then can be extended,but i could not see any other valid permission time mentioned in hsmp approval letter,other than it states that we need to apply for EC within 6 months time.Do they mean the visa stamped?When should i actually initiate my extension application?By august 08 or by december 2009?That is,to be on more clearer side when does the clock start ticking..from the date i get my hsmp approval letter or from the date of visa? and how long does it tick..one year from september 07 (hsmp approval letter time)or 2 years from jan 08(EC time)?

No doubts about it: 2 years from the grant of EC

In your case : 2 years from jan 08(EC time)

Ideally in Dec 2009 you should be applying for your FLR!

winmano- this Integra check is taking place exactly from March 2007 and it was an optional choice left to applicants initially but then,BHC made it mandatory to all HSMP applicants as it is false proof.

I had a doubt in VAF2 form under the Dependants section. Here questions 6.3.15 to 6.3.20 enquire about the company where the sponsor is working / will be working, contact details of the company, date of joining etc.

I am applying for EC along with my wife and I do not have a UK job offer in hand yet. How should I fill up this section? Should I leave it blank?

Pls help.

I also applied along with my wife as dependent, I left it blank, the VFS guy filled it himself as "HSMP" you don't need to worry about that.

Mine is 14th day. i called up BHC today and she have told me that integra report has come but still desion is not made and after that she told the standard answer due to huge backlogs it may take more to take decsion.
