Family ILR

Post by ibo » Fri Jan 04, 2008 3:47 pm

Dear all,

I have a question, I am sure it must have been asked and answered before but I could not find it after searching for a while.

I am an HSMP holder from Pakistan and hopefully will be applying for ILR soon based on 5 years residence. My question is that my wife and kids joined me in the UK about 7 months after I came here. Therefore, they will not have completed 5 years by the time I will be applying for ILR based on my 5 year. My question is; Do my dependents also need to complete 5 years for ILR or they can get it on my application.

Thank you.

Regards,

IBO

Hiya,

No... As long as they are applying as your dependants, they need not have completed 5 years in the UK.

Also, there is a separate forum for such posts. This forum is purely for HSMP. In future, you stand a better chance of getting a quick reply if you use the other forum.

Cheers.
