Please make sure to send original PSC card , i know it says in application form it says copy ,

That you put in your passport application on same date with your friend is no guarantee that you'd get approval and issuance of passports on same date. Applications are treated on individual basis and by different case worker and it all depends on your accuracy and clarity in filling your application forms and also on the efficiency of the case worker handling your file. I am experiencing same as you are too as my friend had her passport delivered today and mine is still pending despite applying same day and time.. A little bit patience will do.dublin1924 wrote:Any one here applied for passport after 26th April ceremony, Well i applied the same day and on second stage since 6th May. No update since, Where as my friend posted with me same day same counter via passport express received his passport on 20th May, We both send copies of PSC card no original.
Please if anyone can comment that why is this delay as my target issue date was 18th May but no update since. Thanks
That is not TRUE! We've heard and seen people had their passport application approved and issued with just a photocopy of their Public Service Card submitted with all other required documents. It's even stated on the DFA.IE that under no circumstances must you send your original PSC (only photocopy of card required) with your passport application.green2016 wrote:Hi

you still have not answer the question regarding adult time regarding application for naturlisation by irish associates. is it a year or 15months or how long?KingdomMan wrote:If the application is for a minor child it doesn't take long (averagely 2 - 4 months) but if the application is for an adult then it could take longer than necessary. We have applied with a photocopy. Let's see what's the result before drawing conclusions on this.KingdomMan wrote:That is not TRUE! There's no timeframe regarding adult application based on Irish Association. You're at the mercy of the INIS so you can only pray, hope and wait patiently for it to come through. Like I've always said, an adult applying for naturalisation based on Irish Association is weak and takes more than usual to get approved so should be avoided if possible.michaelshodipo66 wrote:you still have not answer the question regarding adult time regarding application for naturlisation by irish associates. is it a year or 15months or how long?KingdomMan wrote:If the application is for a minor child it doesn't take long (averagely 2 - 4 months) but if the application is for an adult then it could take longer than necessary.
