confusion on tax requirement for ILR

Post by bbvyas » Wed May 11, 2016 9:30 pm

Hello,
I am on Tire 1(G) applying for ILR by post before 30 may. My first extension was in 2010/2011, @ that time I show my total income 37.2K (employment income: 26K and self employment income: 11.2K),
I paid tax on 35.5K for 2010/2011 from that I declare self employment income 9.3 where I shown expense 1.8K.
IS this going to be problem for me? Income requirement was 35K and i already declare 35.5K to HMRC.
Can anyone suggest me what to do in this situation?
As I read many people post for suggesting to amend tax. do i need to amend income for closed tax year ?

Is there any possiblity to affect reasult on each other?
we are both worry about this things. I dont wont to go in person. worst thing is both having almost same issue as same employer, same income and working on same business.
Can someone suggest me on what to do on first post and second post issue?
Do you think if i changes my application address makes better situation for both?

i think its too late for amendments and moreover you were above threshold and dont worry too much. its going to be ok

@Wanderer, can you please suggest something?

we are planing to show different address on ILR application to avoid more issue. we are very close friends.
Now 1.8K difference to sort out. I really don't know what to do. Most of people go for amendments as they are not reaching threshold. My case is completely different.

How is a different (or false address) going to help you? :?
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

This plan doesn't really make sense.
You either live at a certain address or you don't.
And its a named person (with a particular DoB) who applies for ILR - not a house.
Why on earth is some friend connected to any of this?!

My question is on difference on amount not on address.
Can you please guide me, do i really need to do amendments?

1.6k difference should not be an issue.
But never known how CW deals with it. Good luck
