180 days rule is for main applicants and not for dependents.. but leave should be for a good reason. If i were u, i would apply showing proof of subsidence of relationship.

Hello iworker, Thanks for the reply.

What proofs can be used for showing subsidence of relationship?

Please could you explain, as I am not clear on it?

Thanks for your time and expertise...

Thanks CR001,

So if my wife and Kid is in India for >180 days and we are communicating with each other, it is still possible to apply ILR when I am applying as a main applicant and the absence profile should be shown only for me and not for them?

Do Tier 2 dependant's have to fill a separate application form when applying ILR?

or is it the 1 form all 3 of us?

Can any medical need/family situation be also used as a reason for exceeding the 180 days limit for my wife and kid, as I (main applicant) haven't been out that long?

Where will i need to tell that my dependents were away >180 days?

Thanks in advance, as this will be a great help in boosting my confidence regarding this issue?

or is it the 1 form all 3 of us? One form for you and dependents on Set(O)

Where will i need to tell that my dependents were away >180 days? Additional information page??
