I saw it somewhere that, HO is processing the application which are received on this date something like that. I could not remember now.

Any idea.

tsp: when you call the HO there's a recorded message that tells you the date of the applications that they're processing, that's probably where you heard it

hi, i sent my application on dec 17th and got a mail on dec 19th from ho saying it has reached them and giving me a reference no. But since then I am still waiting and havent got any further news on my application status.
is it genrlly a slow period now or is mine taking a long time? am feeling anxious...
did anybody else apply around the same time?

Application sent to HO: Dec 18
Application Received at HO: Dec 19
Payment Deducted: Dec 20
Decision : WAITING..........................

Called up customer care couple of times, they told me to wait for email from home office...
I have my ILR since march 2013, previously based on HSMP+Tier1 ext. All views are my own, am not a professional on immigration matters.

It took almost 3 weeks for mine to get processed, and keep in mind that you've applied just before the christmas/new years period when everything slows down, so it might take longer than usual.

The customer care people won't tell you anything except "yes, I can confirm we've received your application".

I was pretty anxious too while I was waiting but you just have to tell yourself that you'll get it back in a few weeks and at worst you'll get rejected and have to appeal. There's plenty of information on how to win an appeal so try not to stress.

Ans: Chandra, Yes things definitely slow down in fact I would say come to a standstill between 20th Dec and Jan 2nd. We can expect the activities to resume after this. So my suggestion is, take it easy and be patient.....

Hi there,

I called up the HO this morning and received confirmation that due to the holidays there is a lil delay in processing and things will change from today. So, don't worry about this and I am sure you will hear some good news soon.

Hi,

Application Received by HO : 20-Dec-2007
Payment Deducted : 21-Dec-2007

I have not received my REF number yet, Can anyone throw the light, How do I get the REF number.

I have called HO and found that they are working on 14-DEC-2007 applicaion by their automated phone message. If that is the case, how long does it take to process my application.

Hi tsp,

If you would like to know your reference number, when you call the HO choose option 1 then option 2. You will get to speak to someone who will be able to help you further.

i hav submitted ma case wid HO on 18/12/2007 but since then ma CC hasnt been charged for payment......so m vry confused wot to do.....ny one who can suggest me wot shud i do now?????

Did u check with ur Card's customer service ? Was there a request from HO for payment and got refused like not enough credit limit etc...also u can call up HO and find out

hello touchsensor,
my time lines are same as of yours. my Application reached HO on 30th of November and i got Refrence number on 10th of december. and since then i have not got any update from HO. i think bcoz of holidays HSMP proccessing time get very slow.
plz update on Group of your case if u get any update.

hi everybody,
my applcn reached ho on 17th and i got a mail from them on 19th with my ref no.
today i got a mail telling me that a decision has been made and asking me to arrange for courier..
am keeping my fingers crossed that it is positive..
all of you who havent got your decision mail yet, dont worry i am sure you will get it in a day or two as well

I have called HO Today Morning 10 AM UK Time for REF number and got the ref number. They are considering the application which are received on 17-Dec-2007.

Hi All.

Mine is 2nd application, As soon as I had given my Last Name and DOB, she told me . she will be assigning the 1st application ref number to 2nd app ref number. I got the same ref number.

Any problem of using the same ref number?

My application has reached the HO by 20th Dec. She told me that, still it is not allocated to Case Worker.

Is that necessary, if the ref number is created , should be allocated to case worker.

I can correlate the message and chandra mail , his/her application got processed Today..

If that is the case, when would be the approximate time, i may here from them.(not alllocated to case worker yet) :cry:

When did u apply?When was it received by HO? Mine is reached on 20th DEC and no Ref number has been sent. I have called Today and they gave me the Ref number.
