who is asked to appear for passport interview?

we applied on basis of 5 year stay and 1 year ilr via NCS using joint citizenship and passport application. the lady said that once our application is approved we will attend ceremony send back our brp and will get passport shortly. do we need to appear for an interview as she did not mention it..

An interview isn't required after submitting joint citizenship and passport application
(Casa, not CR001)
