USA visitor visa for Irish stamp4eufam

Hi All,
I would just like to know if someone has travelled to the USA with or without their spouse. What are the visitor visa requirements?
I am planning to visit USA with my spouse this year and none of us have travelled to the usa ever, so we dont know the visa or interview process.
We are residing in Ireland and i am holding stamp4eufam and my spouse is a romanian citizen.
From where can i start the process?
do we need bank statements?
what category visa should we apply? we are just planning to stay there for a week or two.

It would be a B2 visa for tourism. However if you are a visa waiver passport holder, then what you would require is different.
