ILR dependent

Post by musheer1812 » Mon Jun 06, 2016 10:36 am

Dear Experts

I am ILR holder , i was in TIER 1 General before for 5 years and now ILR since April 2014.

I have my wife and son who are my dependents , they are in the UK with me for 2/12 years.

What form should i fill for them as my dependents ? their visa expires on soon.

And do i have to maintain any bank balance .

and if you know the fee for PEO i would appreciate ?

And again thank you for your valuable inputs and advise. much much appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Musheer

You can apply for PBS dependents application for them. Maintenance of funds requirement is £630 for each applicant. I think for postal/online application fee is £1771 so the fee for in person would be +£500. Also you will have to pay the IHS fee upfront for each applicant (£200/year).

thank you i checked your Link .. And i found the answer .

The fees are extortionate i am surprised no one has a voice over this or filed a case against the horrendous amount of fees .

For 2 people in person dependent.

in-person if you apply fees for 2 people £4542 + 1260 Maintenance fee + 900 UK healthcare 2/12 visa.

Total fees for 2 people £5442 + 1260 maintenance fund for 90 days .

For 2 people postal

in-person if you apply its fees for 2 people £3542 + 1260 Maintenance fee + 900 UK healthcare 2/12 visa.

Total fees for 2 people £4442 + 1260 maintenance fund for 90 days .

THIS IS horrendous.

Apologies, I did mean each person for all the figures. Also why don't you apply via the online application process ? It is fairly simple. You fill out the online application form pay the IHS or fill out the number if paid separately and then send the documents in post. I have applied the same for my wife. She enrolled her biometrics within a week. Now we are just awaiting the outcome of the application. The online form is also shorter than the paper form and because you pay upfront, there is not an issue of payment being rejected and hence application being declared invalid. You can possibly save £1000 for both your dependants. Unless you want the visa quickly for travel etc. then go for the in person.

Was your child born outside of the UK? From your wording, it does seem so but I am just confirming.
