NOV 30: Got the documents

DEC 19: Applied for EC
DEC 27: Integra mail
DEC 31: HR Replied to Integra mail
JAN 03: VISA STAMPING
JAN 04: Status updated on vfs website
JAN 07: Collected passport from VFS

I have requested for a post dated EC on the covering letter, but didn't inform the VFS representative..Is there anyway by email/fax to BHC to inform them about the post dated EC request. Did any one made a request like this before?

Guys who have applied at BHC chennai...can u tell your dates..so that we can get a idea as to which date have they processed till now..Even those who got EC...

I applied on 13th Dec..Still waiting..

Applied for EC at VFS Hyderabad on 27/12/2007. Still waiting for a change in Status. No news of Integra yet. Status by SMS says "Invalid Passport or Country Code""

daslimy -Chennai BHC are still with those applications filed in first week of december ..and regarding the time they ask us to check,it will take 5 weeks from the applied date it seems..that is,for you ..you can expect your visa around 20th jan..

Hey folks,
I guess it will be better if those people awaiting decision from Chennai BHC can also post it in the seperate forum mentioned ..as it will make the work of browsing through all pages to find who have applied from Chennai BHC...I think it is ok to watch two forums instead of Browsing all through these pages to find who are awaiting decisions from Chennai BHC And to know their timelines.Guess this will save a lot of time and will also help new applicants awaiting decision from Chennai.Hope you guys will accept this.

I applied visa on Dec 12th 2007 at Bangalore VFS office.
Today my status showing " Processed application delivered to Blue Dart on 07 Jan 2008"

Hi Lion,

When you called the BDHC, they'd asked you to mail regarding your VISA.. Did you mail them?

I called the BDHC this morning they just talk non sense.

There question was when are you planning to fly for UK..

I told them its more than a month now and no decision has been taken..so they say please send us the mail or fax so that we can bring into the notice of the case worker..

I have no hopes of my VISA now

Guys,

Day 19 today for me...I had caled the BHC chenai today. they asked "whn i aplied"..I said "dec 03" ..she said then you can call on coming thursday...i asked "has the procesg times" increased from 16-18?..She replied...YES...you can call us back this weekend.

kewl_cancerian- dont panic, the same story was told to me lik send a fax etc..i dint do anytg as this is waste of effort..so stay calm & wait for results..donot rush them with too many email also..

I have decided to call them back on thursday unless i get anytg before that..All de best guys..keep posted..

mm...So far only good thing to see is,india2k's reply that his visa has been dispatched.This makes me believe Chennai BHC has started working on its cases huh..Hey but his was on Dec 12th..So guys who applied before that,wait for some good news this week then!!!

I am going to collect passport today, please wish me luck. VFS sms changed my status and VFS email reply says ur passport is still with BHC and our sms system is not working and now calling VFS reply that ur passport is with us.
HOPE everything is alright at end!!!

Hey one of my friend who applied on the same date (December 17th)as mine on the same day ,but a few tokens before me in chennai VFS got his visa today..He called up just now Throws some hope on me.. !!!

Guys,

Too many cases moving fast and i can see already my pulse rate is high...the reason being i applied on 03rd dec & when ever u called BHC they repeatedly tel the processing times are increased.also my HR had replied to the integra on 12th itslef..in the case of India2uk, his HR replied on 18th...by any means its after my case..

BHC chennaim enuf of playing mind games with us...show some sympathy to us...

Why dont you try dropping a mail to them tommorrow instead of waiting for thursday

we have seen many cases where they reply saying contact us after a week but then send the passport the next day itself ...so i guess it is worthwhile to keep on contacting as we never know when answer might change - and few cases they have mentioned the result through the email reply ; so then you could come to know the result and relax even before getting the courier

i agree that seems like the ones who applied at chennai BHC are having to wait much longer than the mumbai BHC applicants - i remember reading somewhere also that checks are more at chennai bhc and rejection rate is higher - but i dont want to believe that this ; i am sure they would have a standard checklist and consistent decision criteria .

Hey Lion ,why dont you call them up!! Keep trying the same number few times and you get it...the number which ends in 14 is the one i always get the line.

i agree to you for sendig email, but my thought is every enquiry that we make might get logged.in that case the Case Worker may have a note of it thinking why shd this candidate query so many times..i dont want them to get any such queries in mind.also i will stick to the conversation which i had in morning with BHC..so when i call on thursady i can tel, i was asked to call today..i feel this is better than to pester them every day..people might differ in their opinion with me on this.

so many times ppl ask in many interviews "if u get a boon to do anythig in this world what wil u do" , if such thgs happen to me i would wish to get India to be superior than any country in tbis world..so that we neednt suk any country for immigration..grow india grow..!!
