SAME STATUS Here strong..i applied in chennai VFS on DEC 17TH..

People applied from Bombay are getting it done faster..grr..

Timelines of my friend who applied on the same day as mine and in the same Chennai VFS..

Applied EC at chennai vfs - Dec 17th 2007
Integra Report Received - Jan 2nd 2008
Decision Made - Jan 4th 2008
VFS Status Changed - Jan 7th 2008
Collected Passport with
Visa Stamped - Jan 8th 2008

Chillax folks..Chennai BHC Guys have atlast started working!!!lol

Hi please can you tell me if the work experience document is necessary for EC application and if it is, what should the work experience document say? Please could anybody show me a sample/format?
Also where can I download the Integra Verification form?

Chandra,

Integra form -It will be given to you in the VFS office and you need to fill it up and submit it along with your EC application form.

Experience Certificate - Yes,You need to provide all your service certificates from the start of your career.All the companies you served will give you a relieving letter stating the time of service you rendered to their company.You need to submit the original copies of it.And it is also important to get a service certificate from your current employer that you are being employed in so and so company from --/--/---- date.It is Even better if you have appointment letters of all your previous companies too.

The VFS guys ask you to give whatever documents you wanted to provide.They just check if you have relevant proof for each of their column in their VAF2 application form.So IT IS ENOUGH to arrange proofs according to that.Hope this info helps.

It is essential to give those details just for integra check,they ask for your previous atleast 3 companies list .

Hi all, how to check the status of the application. ? I have applied EC today in Mumbai VFS. if i enter my passport and DOB in VFS site it gives the "invalid search" . Could you please let me know how to check teh status of the application ....

Anugandla,
You need not give your passport number.You need to give that reference number given to you on ur slip..it will be in this format.. XXXX/XXXXXX/XXXXXX/X(X)

Type in that number and ur DOB to check your status.Hope this helps.

Me too waiting for BHC, Chennai to take a decision.

Applied Date: Dec 19th - VFS, Hyd
Integra Verification: Don't know if it happened
Status: VFS guys say passport is still under verification with BHC

This was the mail i got from BHC today...Grrrrrrrr...

"Dear Sir

Please be informed that your application has not been assessed as yet due to the unusual number of applications we have been receiving. Visa Officers are presently assessing HSMP/ Work Permit applications received in the second week of December 2007. We are trying to deal with the applications as expeditiously as possible.

You may check with us around 07 February 2008.

Hi,

Applied for Entry Clearance on Dec 19th @ VFS, Hyd

Right now my status in the VFS site states that "Processed application delivered to Blue Dart on 18 Jan 2008"

And sms to 57333 - says just "ok"

I dunno what exactly is the status

pls advice

the status in vfs website will change only after the decision is made and your passport is ready to be dispatched.. And shaskul..congrats ..you will receive your visa today or morrow...
