I sympathize with your situation and can understand the pain you are going through. My docs were dispatched on 11 Dec. I was very much worried and had hard time till 24th Dec when I finally received my documents by Airmail.

I would suggest you to visit the local post office (in case you have not done so) and speak to postman of your area. Sometimes posts lies in post office for long time.

What will you do after this weekend if you don't receive your documents?

I don't think we can do anything until 12 weeks from the dispatch date.

But I have checked with my local post office.....not so helpful reply from them as they don't keep any record for ordinary airmails.

But however i have checked with my consultant, according to them ..its common that HO airmail gets delayed sometimes.....& they never missed any docs of their clients until now though it was delayed.

I called HO yesterday, they checked there returned mails, but mine is not there.

I am also in touch with Local post man... he says the same story...

But u can do one thing....

Go to museum Road Post Office Back side of SBI main Branch . In second flore there u can tell ur situation they will show you some records, they are too good. I visited there twice, but my name was not there....

So they are telling if it comes there then it will come to our loca post office..... So i stoped going there....

But u can try...

Hi Shakripa,

I had been there already...they told if it is a normal airmail it doesn't contain any reference hence no records will be maintained.

And they told the same story of a person...I think that was you.

Have you applied through consultant? Let me know.

hi,

i received a mail from my agent that i should arrange to collect my documents,my application was approved,it was approved on the 04/12/07 but was not sent due to the fact that i only wrote my office address so when my home address was faxed my agent,they wrapped up the process,so its now on to EC.

Good luck to everyone else,just keep on mailing and phoning HO to know whats stalling it.

Hi shakirpa,

Yes they have shown me the manual entry register, but those entries are for registered Airmail with reference & not for ordinary airmail.

And I called HO yesterday...they have started a new story of 14 weeks rather than 12 weeks as said earlier!!!!!!!

For me my aplication is not at all considered so i am planning to apply for duplicates of my DOCs....

Then need to send it again....

Payment is not cleared, that was my problem.... i gave a debit card which is having a per day limit of approx 315 Pounds.....

So whats ur plans.....

My Reference number came on 29th November

I sent a mail on 18/12/2007 , asking HO about the status, and i got a response back in Mail on 28/12/2007, that my application is still under consideration. They have written in the mail that if i don't hear from then in next 12 weeks , i can contact them again.

I havent mailed them since then. Anybody has any clue on why it is taking so long to process HSMP? Is this beacuse of new rules coming up in first Quarter 2008? There is not much difference to skilled category as such

Is anybody in same situation as me? any experience will help.

I dont think that the delay in your case is due to new rules because it evident that many other are hearing from HO on regular basis so stay calm and wait for your turn.
The reason behind delay might be workload or case worker absence to which your case has been assigned.
