...as I commented earlier the the thread, the OP's stated love of the Gambian culture, over it appears her own British cultural background, may well go against her when claiming she would be unable to settle with her husband in Gambia.

I thought she was saying that her latest husband has already claimed asylum in Germany? As the OP is a German citizen, why not just return to Germany?

Context is very important in thsee cases. I am not sure the op's view in that context expresses a deep seated facial animus to any other ethnicity.

She was expressing a personal view and personal preference.
