HSMP points calculation in Salary-Pls help Urgent

Post by Prabeen » Tue Jan 08, 2008 4:04 am

I am calculating the income for the past 12 months Jan-Dec -2007.I am getting 75 points

20 -Age
30- Education(B.E computer science)
25 - Salary(should be more than 4900 pounds).I calculated the salary conversion for Dec-31-2007(1 GBP=78.1738033169 INR)
so when I calculate I get 4988.28 GBP. Pls let me know if I have everything in process to get the HSMP .

Also I got a hike in salary in March-2007. But my company gave the hike only in July-2007. I have paid taxes for the arrear amount credited. Pls let me know if I will have any issues with this.I have listed my salary below.will there be any problem with the sudden jump in salary for a single month alone.

Hiya,

Your calculations seem okay to me. There is no hassle with the increase in salary in a particular month - just make sure the Bonus is part of the July 07 payslip is not on a separate 'payslip'. HO will only consider 12 payslips.

For Previous Earnings: Provide your salary slips and Bank Statements / Letter from your employer.

For Education: Make sure your degree is recognised as a British taught Bachelors. Else, apply for a NARIC CoC.

I believe you are submitting two pieces of evidence for age proof. Otherwise, you are good to go.

All the best!

More than one payslip in one month

Post by Spear » Tue Jan 08, 2008 5:26 pm

HO accepts more than 12 pay slips from a 12 month period. As long as the payslips are issued in the correct month. I had bonus payments issues on a separate payslip (for work done the previous year) and this was accepted.
It is only logical - for example if you work for two companies (two jobs)then you would have 2 payslips in one month. The rules also indocate that earnining from several jobs will be accepted.

Salary Slip + Allowance slip = Total Income?

Post by seanha » Fri Jan 11, 2008 6:00 am

I hope you guys can help me..

I have two slips received from my company every month. I have salary slip and allowance slip separately (Mileage claim, entertainment, meals and etc) received every month. Is it possible to accumulate these two slips as total income declared for the point system? Appreciate your assistnace. Thanks

I would have thought they would only look at your salary slips.

What happens to the balance of your allowance if you don't use 100% of it?

Sealed & signed salary slips are mandatry???

Post by chiru1973 » Wed Jan 16, 2008 6:05 pm

Dear All,

Could you pls tell me any one of u, that, is there any mandatry requirement for salary slips to be sealed & singed by the Finance dept?I aprehend I might not get that from my present or past employer.
But definitely my bank statement will show the amount credited against salary Headings! Is that good enough?

Pls reply...

If salary slips are online, it is mandatery to have stamped and signed.
And it is important evidence, you don't have alternative to it.
