Hi everyone,

It has been 5 weeks since the payment for our EEA (FM) application has been deducted but we have yet to hear back anything from home office.

Would like to know if anyone who has submitted their application in mid May have received the biometric letter from Home Office

Our application timeline so far:
Application sent: 10/05/16
Payment accepted: 12/05/16
Biometrics: Pending
COA: Pending
RC: Pending

Hi everyone,

Here is my timeline, no news from HO yet...

Application sent: May 12
Application received: May 13
Money deducted: May 17
Email to eurobiometrics@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk chasing about the Biometrics letter: June 09
....
no answer and no news, this is frustrating. The law states that a CoA shall be issued IMMEDIATELY. More than a month doesn't seems immediately to me.

Application sent: 14 December 2015
Application received: 15 December 2015
Money deducted: 17 December 2015
COA: 09 January 2016 (unable to confirm right to work)
Biometric letter received: 09 January 2016
Biometrics completed: 11 January 2016
Request passport return: 19 February 2016 (unable as no right to remain) and decision pending......

Letter of acceptance and RC received: 08 June 2016
Documents returned: 10 June 2016

Took nearly the full 6 months, but so so happy it is all sorted and can go back to work!

I wrote to them because it was taken to long, and I realised after I write to them I had an answer within the next week. I don't know if is a coincidence but it worked.

Hi Cypher,

I am in the same situation as you. I have been running up and down every time the mail man stops by but nothing has come my way yet.

I applied on 24th Dec, received my COA on 3rd February, and nothing since then.

keeping my fingers crossed it comes soon. I think, unfortunately, it depends on the speed of different case workers :/

@ ro-28 i totally feel you. As a matter of fact i become very paranoid every time there's a mail thinking about it..I really hope it will come very soon as I can see that even folks who applied in January got theirs. did you report your case because it's already 6 months.

@cypher. Ditto with me. Have become super paranoid. Every morning all I think about is when the mail man will arrive.
I noticed that as well that some who applied in January already started receiving theirs.
I haven't reported it yet, am waiting for the full 6 months to be over (24th June, technically) as they categorically said in the COA not to enquire until 6 months are over.
When did you apply?

Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us :)

What's happened to the TIMELINE!!

This is not a discussion thread. This one is: http://www.immigrationboards.com/eea-ro ... 00631.html
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Dear All,

I would appreciate your insight and suggestions on the matter.

I submitted by application for a residence card as a direct family member of an EEA national on 01 March 2016. The Home Office approved my application on 07 September 2016 and my documents were returned on 10 September 2016 with the Home Office decision letter stating that I will receive my residence card in 10 working days. To date my residence card has not arrived. I reported the issue to the Delivery Management Team and they came back stating that they have referred the matter to the caseworker. I also wrote to the caseworker, but no response. Upon calling the EEA helpline multiple times, I received a call from UKVI informing that the issue is currently being looked at and they do not know how long will it take before my residence card is delivered to me.

My question is, is it normal for the Home Office to take that long to deliver a residence card?
Is there anyone else on this forum who is in the same situation or faced a situation like this?
I am really frustrated and don't know what to do. Would appreciate any advice/suggestions.

Kind regards

Hello guys,

Anyone here submitted their application last June? I am still waiting for my residence card. I am non EU citizen married to an EU national working and living here in the UK. Here is my timeline:

Application submitted: June 3
Biometrics letter received: July 7 (dated July 4)
COA received: July 14 (dated July 12)
Requested passport back: July 14
Passport received: August 11
RC: still waiting

Any idea how long does RC arrives in 2016?
