The point I was trying to make was that Blair has said that he wanted the Home Office to start taking a strong look at the country of origin (Eastern EU, Pakistan, India, etc..) and I wanted to know if any American has been affected by that as well as the previously mentioned countries.

I would be surpised if this were the case considering the close working relationship between the current administrations but it doesn't hurt to ask.

well, if you check a couple of posts earlier, they rejected an Australian, so I am sure they are rejecting americans who don't qualiy!!
