work history - temp working

Post by searcher74 » Wed Jun 22, 2016 11:14 am

Hi all,

Regarding the AN form - I have 2 periods of temp working during the relevant period where I was in-between permanent jobs.

For these, I would work at multiple different companies via the same temp agency. So for example, one day I was at company A, the next at company B for 2 days, then onto company C for 4 days, etc etc.

My paychecks were weekly and came in via my temp agency. It was my temp agency which issued me with a P45 when I stopped working on this temp basis.

As such, for section 1.50, would the employer name be my temp agency rather than these random companies?

Thanks.

The temp agency as that is whose payroll you would have been on.

Thanks CR001

A further question.

One of my referees will be a NZ Government Civil Servant holding a NZ Passport. Do I need to include their NZ Passport number on Page 22 under additional info?

They need to complete the form as required. If he does not wish to provide it on the form, he can write 'details on request' etc.

Sorry, I may not have explained myself very well.

She (my non British professional referee) is happy to fill out her passport number, it's just that Sections 5.9 / 5.17 state "Current British citizen passport number (if any):", so if one of my referees is a non-British citizen (NZ in this case) do I then leave this space blank?

And if so, should I include their foreign (NZ) Passport Number in the further info section instead?

Did you miss the highlighted bit above? She should include the detail if she is happy to do so.

Sorry I'm totally at cross purposes with you here.

What is "highlighted bit above"?

Sorry, ignore that. She can provide her NZ passport number if she wishes to.

And presumably that should go in the "Additional Info" Section, rather than the specific box for British Passport Numbers I would think?

The non-British referee is not really required to give their passport number. So it would be fine to leave the field blank. The British referee should however state their british passport number or state that it will be provided on request.

OK.

Slightly different question - bit unique maybe.

Section 1.28

My mother's full name at my birth was the same surname as my father's - they were married at my birth.

However, my father subsequently passed away and my mother remarried and changed her name to my step-father's name, which is her current name.

This section asks for my mother's name and her maiden name.

I don't want to give the impression my parents were not married at my birth.

What names should I enter here?

Thanks.

Current name and original maiden name.

You can explain the details in the 'additional info' section of the form, namely:
1) maiden name;
2) father's family/surname
3) latest surname (stepfather)
All that is gold does not glitter; Not all those who wander are lost. E&OE.

Thank you.

Some additional questions.

1. In Section 6 of the AN Form, specifically 6.7, for JCAP applications, can I select "No" to the question "BRP enclosed?". I prefer to hold on to my BRP until citizenship is granted and then return it within 5 days. If I do select "No", what do I answer for "please state the location of the BRP"?

2. I suppose in the above case I ignore Sections 6.9 - 6.11?

3. What should I enter in Section 6.12?

4. For JCAP applications under Section 7.5 - will the officer include the photocopies of my spouse's UK Passport? If so I suppose I should tick this box?

Please continue in your other topic. It is unfair on members responding to have two topics with the same queries.
