Tier 2 General | IHS Fee

Post by KPSP » Wed Jun 22, 2016 4:57 pm

Hi All,

I am in the processing of changing my sponsor and last year I had extended my stay for three years (First VISA for 2 years and then 3 years). I had paid the IHS fee for 3 years during my extension.
Now my new employer is issuing me a CoS for another 3 years (as a Tier 2 Holder can stay here for a maximum of 6 years). In this regard could you please help me answering the questions.

1. Should I pay the IHS fee for the remaining 1 year? If so which reference should I put in the application?
2. Should I pay the IHS fee for 3 years again and claim the money for 2 years which was already paid?

Thanks,
Praneeth

Option 2. IHS has to be paid with each application you make. It is your choice to change sponsors. You might get a refund, you might not.
