Will pregnancy update the Rc application

Hello!

I was wondering if updating HO about pregnancy can speed up the application process?
Do I need to ?

Application sent : 8th Feb 2016 (Postal order)
Biometric received : 26th Feb 2016
Bimoetric sent : 26th Feb 2016
COA received : 1st March 2016 (with right of work)
Decision made : 8th Aug 2016
Residence card : 12th Aug 2016

Not clear why you think it makes a difference to HO?
It doesn't seem to be a material change in the context of FM/RC (but obviously its life-changing for you).
