Spouse Visa - Director of Ltd company - Checklist

Hi all,

Going to apply for a spouse visa for a non EU citizen soon. Just wanted someone to check below list of docs and if I have missed anything?

CT600
Acknowledgement of CT600 from HMRC
Certificate of incorporation
Unaudited accounts
Current appointment report
Proof of registration as PAYE
Payslips and P60
Personal bank statements
Business bank statements
Dividend vouchers
Insurance premium
P60
Copy of passport
Tenancy agreement- self certified
Sponsorship form - DO I NEED?

Did you submitted an accountant’s certificate of confirmation from an accountant who is a member of a UK Recognised body?

I am sure you know you have to fill Appendix 2 form, need English language certificate from applicant, Relationship documents and utility-bills and council tax on your name along with tenancy agreements

Certificate of accountant is needed for confirmation of unaudited accounts. Read this from self employed section of Appendix FM 1.7

(iv) If company is not required to produce annual audited accounts, unaudited accounts
for the last full financial year and an accountant’s certificate of confirmation, from an
accountant who is a member of a UK Recognised Supervisory Body (as defined in the
Companies Act 2006) or who is a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants; "

You dont need first one appendix 4 and last one SU07/12..

My accountant has given the unaudited on plain paper.

But they have given a general letter stating they are acting as my accountant since xxx date, that I am directory of ABC ltd, my income was GBP xxx and so on. They do not make a statement exclusively regarding unaudited accounts though.

Should that be sufficient?

Did you apply as a director as well ?
