Why not just pay the extra money onto your credit card and use one form of payment.

Thanks for your reply my issue is my credit limit is £4,800 and my application fee is £5,625. i have the extra funds to make up the application fee but my bank just increased my credit limit to £4,800. That is why i am thinking of completing the payment with a draft.

You can pay the extra onto your credit card and your balance available will increase, i.e. your will be in debit.

Or, do a balance transfer from your credit card to your cheque account and then do a draft/pay by debit card etc.

Assuming you are applying by post am I correct??

obaaa,
Advice given by CR001 is 100% perfect.

I do not see any better options at all.
