Got my documents back today (as have been requested) , but without RC
Looks like I have to fly without RC and to hope that it will come after and my husband will send it to us later....

Hello,

I did travel out and come back to UK while my EEA2 application case on HO.
It is very hard to board with any airlines without visa. I did enter from France so if you can reach to UK border than show all doc you have COA, Biometric enrollment = all papers proof you have life here. By the way my EEA wife with me which makes more sense at UK custom.

That would be an other option to you come back. Just let you know in case.

I'm coming back 19 of August , so I hope by this time RC will arrive on my UK address . If not, i'll have to make a family permit visa from Moscow (as they told me at HO when i called them ystrd) ...

its look like you will recive you RC in 2-3 days otherwise they are not giving passport back

I thought January application will be done and dusted in June but now it looks like we will be waiting even in August.

Just called Home Office they guy told me they can only give any news on processing after 6 months. Right now they can see nothing and application maybe with the case worker.
I have read on this forum that even after 6 months they dont tell you anything.

Guys, just to let you know anyone do not receive any letter or news after six months for this kind of case, you can sue HO for that and can get a compensation up-to 40k.

Guys, just to let you know anyone do not receive any letter or news after six months for this kind of case, you can sue HO for that and can get a compensation up-to 40k.

we don't know when really 6 months starts, because in their web site they say 6 months start when they receive application, if you call them after six months they say the time starts after money taken.

I tell you guys a trick, who can not wait and would like to find out what is happening. Call HO the EU department and ask them about your Case. when they ask if the 6 months have passed. you should reply that you believe so as you do not know the exact date ,but believe to be passed the 6 months duration.

It is not working all the time ,but works in most cases. Specially for those one, whos' five months passed.

Your 6 months starts with the date HO received your application, its the date you raised your application. There are many incidence where home office is being penalized by tens of thousands of pounds by applicants, who provided proofs that HO delay has resulted in financial repercussions for them.
Also Jaloo when you give your reference number HO can see when did you apply and if its less than 6 months you will get the same answer. So here is a reply to your clever idea.

I don know where are you getting these information from but it takes almost 10 days from taking a decison on an application to iussing a card. If people are receiving cards it mean most or all of January applications have been decided.
