Don't do that. Try to detach yourself from the royal mail website and even from this forum. Otherwise the anxiety will eat your life

For me today starts the 5th month of waiting (even though I am an EEA national). I told my MP that they still haven't returned a document I requested 3 months ago and he contacted them about it. Maybe his intervention will make them speed up the process. Unless they have already posted the document or the answer altogether... to the old address :x

But honestly I managed to get over it now. I'm not upset anymore when I get home and realize I haven't received any mail. Less than two months from now I will be able to start chasing them. I will probably have to contact my MP again, because I don't trust the Home Office anymore.

Maybe do a little walk to your old address and ring the bell and ask if they have a notification for you... you could have had your PR for a month not knowing about it :)

It's over 100 miles away from me so it's not the most convenient thing, but I was thinking to send them a prepaid envelope and ask them to put my response it it if they received it :P

I remember reading on another website about someone receiving their DCPR on the 24th.

Edit: I think it was dated after 20th of June but I can't remember where I read it.

Here's my timeline. I am a non-EEA national married to an EU citizen. We have been together for 1.5 years and married for 3 months. I have been living in the UK for 2 years and my spouse for 1 year.

My spouse has been working since arrival, whereas I have had short-term contracts with a 9-month gap. I am currently waiting for CoA and not looking for work as I have been denied job interviews due to the lack of evidence that I can legally work in the UK (I can work until August 2016 but employers have been unwilling to give me a contract). I came to the UK with a Tier 5 visa which expires in August 2016.

20/05/16: Application sent
23/05/16: Application received
25/05/16: Payment taken
26/06/16: Passport return requested
29/06/16: Biometric letter received (dated 23/06/16)
30/06/16: Biometric submitted

Due to Brexit, we are considering to move to Canada, but as we are in the process of getting my husband Canadian PR card, we intend to remain in the UK for the next 1-2 years. Hopefully we will be able to save a bit for a fresh start in Canada... Which means, I can start working soon! Really hope that CoA arrives in the next 1-2 week so I can start applying for jobs...
A little update on my case:
- 20/05/16: Application sent
- 23/05/16: Application received
- 25/05/16: Payment taken
- 26/06/16: Passport return requested (Ref. #: ROD103009418)
- 29/06/16: Biometric letter received (dated 23/06/16)
- 30/06/16: Biometric submitted
- 08/07/16: CoA (with the right to work) received (dated 05/07/16)

Now I just gotta do job hunt and wait for the RC... Thank God I received CoA just before my job interview! :D

Straight forward case hopefully

Hello everyone

My timeline: EEA(A8) and non-EEA spouse applied together

Application sent: 22/02/16
Application received by HO:23/02/16
Payment taken: 28/02/16
Email confirmation received: 10/03/16
COA letter: 17/03/16
Biometric request: 13/03/16
Biometrics enrolled: 14/03/16
DCPR: still waiting

Try to keep calm and wait, at the end of the day if we don't get it issued, then it's not the end of the world, as long as you still have your brain in situ and faith in your heart then there are loads of opportunities out there.

Remember that if you were able to live, work, learn the language, contribute to the society positively and had the capacity to lodge an application of this size, then i am sure you're capable of finding opportunities elsewhere.

Things to do in the mean time:
1) Keep visiting this blog to stay in the loop
2) Check royal mail trackers periodically to make sure that the package did not end up in a wrong place(do not over do this)
2) Follow current news updates re. Brexit and fate of EU nationals in the UK
3) Prepare for the life in the UK test and sit the exam
4) Prepare for the IELTS like skills test at B1 level and sit the exam

Steps 3 and 4 will benefit you anyway regardless of the decision as you will have learned some history and tested you English language skills.

Keep positive and believe in yourself.

Hi All,
I am EU national and here is my timeline:

Application send:24/06/16
HO received:27/06/16
No payment taken so far
Still waiting...

EU national living and working in the UK since 2008, all requested documents sent for 2008-2016 period, quite straight forward.. but really concerned because I have sent passport, original contracts, original P60, invoices, etc.. Does anyone know if there is any issue or delay with the current Brexit in the HO?

I find very strange that after two weeks no payment has been taken.

Thanks!

Congratulations on that one and it looks like quite promising news for single EU citizens apps.

The wait even post Brexit is c. 3 months which gives me hope. I am still not confident of actually getting mine due to evidence but good to see there is no excess in processing times.

Today I received my SAR request.
I would like to thank you for your help.

If you have previously done a DCPR request I can confirm it contains the date you acquired the PR status under section Entitlement.
In my case:
came in UK Jan 2010
started to work Feb 2010
In my SAR it says I acquired PR status in Feb 2015 under Entitlement section.

I have also received my DCPR in may 2016 but to apply for AN apparently I don't need to wait 12 months from the date issued in the DCPR but I can use Feb 2016 which is 12 months after I acquired DCPR.
Am I right about the last point?
EEA DCPR timeline
Documents sent: 24.02.16; DCPR received:14.05.16; Total: 80 days
Naturalisation timeline
Document sent: 16.12.16; Biometric: 11.01.2017; Approval 21.02.2017; Ceremony 06.03.2017; Passport Received 13.03.2017; Total: 87 days

Yes, you can apply in Feb 2016.

[quote="Eagle00"]My timeline for eea (pr) application, eea national plus non eea spouse married for two years, both having been in the uk for ca 10 years.

16 Jan -application posted
18 Jan -Royal Mail proof of delivery
20 Jan - payment taken by ukvi
2 Feb -ukvi sends email confirming receipt of application
4 Feb - letter requesting biometric enrolment of non eea spouse
5 Feb - biometric enrolled at local post office
12 Feb - CoA letter issued

****update****

6 July - date of issue of residence permits (EEA citizen and non-EEA spouse)
8 July - DX tried to deliver non-EEA permit and left a calling card
9 July - EEA permit and supporting documents delivered in Royal mail pre-paid envelope. Non-EEA card delivered separately by DX

Very nearly 6 months processing time and I'm glad the waiting is now over. All the best to everyone who's waiting.
