Any successful tier 1 extension after 1 June 2016

I don't think the process can be finished by UKVI with in 8 weeks as mentioned in letter. I have seen people waiting for first interview letter more than 6 weeks, I am waiting for any kind of communication from UKVI for the last 4 weeks after my Bio metrics, only god knows how long should we wait for any output.

Tier 1E route got a lot of attention since early 2013 and many migrants were granted visas from that point onwards. This means that the number of extension applications has gone up significantly and HO is dealing with a lot of them now. Add the large scale abuse of the route to that and it all makes sense. Clearly HO is taking much longer than usual to grant extensions now, way beyond the 8 weeks mark. So please be patient
