Tier 2 expert can solve this problem//regarding COS length

I had got the 5 years visa in May 2014-june 2019 .now i need to apply for my newly born child visa.I filled online application form today.There is a question what is the length of your COS.Underneath there are 2 options
1-3 years or less
2-more than 3 years
I am really confused if i click 3 years COS option visa fee comes £ 664. and if i click more than 3 years COS visa fee comes £ 1328.basically i had got 5 years visa but at the moment my remaining visa is for 2 years and 11 months.I need expert advice which is the best option.i will be really grateful for experts.Thanks

Your dependents get visa in line with your visa. Regardless of length remaining on your visa the fee charged for the dependent application will be based on your original CoS length.
