Spouse visa: Paying health surcharge GBP

Hi all,

I'm British and applying for a spouse visa on behalf of my husband who is in Pakistan.

Everything is done I just have a simple question..how do I pay in pounds?

After completing the visa4uk form and booking my husbands biometrics appointment in Islamabad, the next step takes me to another website to pay the health surcharge, it asks me to pay in rupees. It won't let me change 'Are you applying from within the UK?' to 'Yes', it says location islamabad...and I can't work out what I have missed!

Can anybody who paid in GBP help me please?

It is paid in the currency of the country where the application is submitted.

You are not the applicant. It is the applicant that pays the charge.

I think you can pay it with your GBP debit card, but you will be whacked with a higher rate charge and bank charges.
