From flr-fp to ILR

Post by bluesheep » Fri Jul 15, 2016 11:23 am

My wife and daughter has submitted flr-fp application along with passports and biometric cards to UKVI which is in process.

Now since my ILR application has been accepted we would like to withdraw flr-fp applications and submit ILR applications on SET(0) forms.

Should we write a covering letter along with SET (0) explaining to withdraw flr-fp application and to consider ILR application or should we first withdraw flr-fp applications and then submit passports along with ILR applications?

If we withdraw flr-fp and the submit ILR applications along with the passports in this approach my family members might become over-stayers for few days/weeks.

My family leave to remain in UK as Tier (G) dependent was till 12/03/2016. However, they applied for flr-fp on 11/03/2016 so till this date they are legal in UK.

A prompt response is highly appreciated.

You should apply to vary their application. Not sure if possible for ILR on Set(O) now that they no longer have PBS dependent visas.
