UK visit Visa sponsership question

HI,

I am sponsoring my in laws for UK visit visa. My current visa is due to expire however the in country extension process has started.

My assumption is I can show my current visa & the Home office letter confirming the extension process should be enough,

can some one please confirm asap

when is your visa expiring ?

I suggest you apply after extension.
