is the same link dude my wife has a conviction of 2 months and half in UK November 2007 and till now no answer, they did the same thing police record from UK and write a letter about her own word. here she never claim any social welfare and never commit any crime mother of 4 Irish kids , no answer so fare 22 months and we are waiting .Carlow04 wrote:Rio29 I hear what You saying mate but as my sentence was 8months sentence my spent time is less and my the way see https://www.nacro.org.uk/resettlement-a ... /#overseas, a conviction does not mean refusal. But I am hopeful all is well. And I applied as spouse of Irish citizen. In my last Inis document request, they asked me to write in my own words about my conviction.

Sent my application 1st week of March/16, got acknowledge letter and receipt less than one month later.
1st week of May/16 got letter asking for further documents which was sent at the end of May. After this I have not heard from them. Sent them an email this week and got a reply: your application continues to be processed. Not possible to give an exact time frame, this office will be in touch as soon as a decision has been reached. I can see people talking about 2nd stage letter which I never received. Is it unusual?
Congratulations!! Glad they are still sending out approvals!!!Zini wrote:The wait is over...... Got my approval in post today yippie.... Timeline as follows applied August 2015, Documents requested all sent by October 2015, second stage letter November 4, Approval July 18,I realised anytime u are asked to submit a document your application is taken out of queue and left has pending, that's y it sometimes takes time to get approval, and if u lucky to have straight forward application u will fly through
It is funny, my visa was about to expire then I asked them to extend my visa, then advised me to contact EU Treaty rights. I was advised to apply again. I did, receive a letter stating that it would take up to 14 weeks to receive the acnowledge letter. 3 weeks later I received a letter of approval for 10-year-visa. My friend applied for the naturalisation in February and received her letter of approval already.jumanufer wrote:dad12345 wrote:Hi guys,

Things are going slower than before and on top of that when they ask for information or documentation process moves to initial stage
Congratulations for 10 years stamps, you are lucky to get your stamp in 3 weeks time. I have been waiting for my stamp up to 10 months now.dad12345 wrote:

My case was simple too, My wife was in business last 5 years and we have 3 kids together. They just moved my file 2 weeks ago, after i explained my situation that i have to travel with my children. Last week i got a letter from them , they wanted a Copy of my wife's ID card and exploitation who was the other person on business bank account. That was my wife's business partner, i sent them partnership agreement and business registration certificate.dad12345 wrote:I got the conclusion that there is no rule, cases differ to each other. I probably got the new stamp so quick because I provided them all documents possible, I have been working in the same company for 9 years and I live in the same address in the last 8 years. All of this probably helped to get this visa renewed as I believe no much search was need. Now, in relation to my citizenship application I am expecting this to take at least 6 months to be reviewed. I wonder if the fact I have got 10-year visa would expedite the process. Not sure if the cross informations though. People are talking about 2nd stage letter. I have not received this letter either some people I know that have got the decision letter, they told me they never received such letter. At this stage I believe I will not be invited for the September ceremony as we are nearly in the end of July.
