Somebody say if you ever been refused, you cann't get same day ILR, anybody knows is it true or not?

My situation is 1 year WP + 4 years HSMP, been refused once at last year when home office announced 4-5 ILR changed, I tried to catch the last train, but it was faild, the reason been refused was didn't meet the 4 years rule.

My question is that: Can I still get same day ILR this year ? thanks

In my opinion, it would still be a straightforward application. The gurus should be along shortly to give their thoughts on the matter.

If you applied for ILR after 4 years and was refused only because they changed the rule, then there should be no problem...unless the application resulted in the visa expiring.

Thanks Victoria,

I didn't finish 4 years when I applied ILR last year, the application didn't result in the visa expiring.
