ILR Help!!

Post by user1109 » Mon Jul 18, 2016 4:39 pm

Hello All,

I am going for my ILR in next few months I wanted to check few things as I am hearing more news about ILR cases got refused due to the Tax discrepancies/deception. During my Tier 1 general Visa i have showed employment and some self employment income and I have showed HO my net profit and the employment earnings which is required for my application but the figures i have showed to the HMRC later are different due to some losses and expenses afterwards. As I am still on the band which i needed when i add employment and self employment Income after the expenses and losses but the figures that were shown to the HO and HMRC were different does it come under the deception/ discrepancies or does it effect my application ? Please advise.. I am new to this forum please accept my apologies if i put any incorrect / insufficient information.

Regards

Do you meet income threshold for previous applications after taking out expenses/losses ? If yes, then I think you should be fine.

Hi Monty87, Thanks for your reply. Yes, I do meet Income threshold even after taking out the expenses/loses. But my concern is does the HO consider that as the Income shown in the application form and the HMRC are different ? As I have heard that it still comes under discrepencies/deception is that true ? Has anyone come across this situation please ?? Many Thanks

There shouldn't any any expenses after date in the acconts, or very few if so. Google the accounting prinicple of Accruals and Prepayments.

Thanks for your reply Wanderer. So, what if there is a difference in the figures shown to HMRC and HO ? As i am quite confused with the posts recently and even after the figures were added ( Employement + Selfemployment ) i am in the threshold. Please advise. Many Thanks
