I sent a mail 1 hr back to know the reference number and it starts with 779***... They are looking at applicants of second week of December..

The day is coming close to 3.30 PM & more tension in my head...jus now i went to collect the WP approval paper from my imigration team..the immigration head is so confused abt my state and he said he will spk to my manager...cos the imigration head feels i am really wasting comps money, time, effort in applyin wP & now telling tat i won go for WP visa...

He said if i don get anytg within ths weekend then the better way is to withdraw my apps..

...after all the pain which i took in last one year the result is "111" - ppl in south can understand ths if u had been to thirupathi..

Hi Lion

Not sure about the 3.30 PM mention ?? It sounds like the immigration head has given you time till monday to revert with your decision - so pray for the best - three working days of BHC are there till then

Also , consider the pros and cons - work permit for 5 years also leads to ILR .....it is a tough decision that you need to make if you dont get your ppt by monday - so do try to see if another mail from office forwarded to BHC will expedite

to what number do you send the sms?is it 57333 ..I generally send this message "UK EXXXXXXX" the reply I get is always "ok"

Ur sending it wrongly...you shd send as "visa uk EXXXXXX" to 57333

try it now..

Quite interesting to know the current processing is carried out on second week of december applicants

lion is part of first week applicants and me in second week lets see whether we get any update by this week or not.

i have been checking only on the vfs website and not through sms - as i heard that the same update only we get whether we check online or through sms

So as per their "revised" timelines - they HAVE to give you your result by tommorrow - ie within 26 working days .

sorry vishal ...i typed 26 days instead of 25 days by mistake

BHC had told lion and few others that processing time is now 25 working days and not 15 - bcos of current backlogs

God help us all

vidya is right, currently the BHC chennai has told that 16-18 workig days of processing is incereased to 25 since there are huge backlogs and holidays..hence tomrow is my 25th wrking day..by BHC say i shd get any result by tomorrow.

I am sorry for the late reply and thank all of you for solving my queries but I have got my EC cleared on 07-01-2008 and I have start working in London from 14th jan 2008.my time lines are :

Applied On : 19th-dec
Applied From : New Delhi
Integra Report to BHC : 21-dec-2007
Final Status : got EC on 7th Jan 2008
passport collected : 09-01-2008
reached UK : 13-01-2008
On Job : 14-01-2008

let me know in case anybody have any question.

My date of application in VFS Hyderabad was 27th Dec. VFS tracker says Ã„pplication forwarded to BHC Chennai on 27th Dec. But BHC Chennai say they recieved the application on 2nd Jan. Anyone with a similar date variation.

Hi all,
After reading posts in this forum, I would like to tell u all that I am also still waiting for my EC and have no clue about the process. I have already rsigned my job as of 31st December and now I am feeling so frustrated

How to get reference number?
when ever I send SMS, I get invalid country code.
Another thing, my HSMP approval is going to complete 6 month on 31st January, will there be any issues regarding this?
