All those applied for EC in January 2008

When I applied I told the VFS guy that I'm applying for post dated visa... that guy just saw my application once and said OK... I didnt see him putting any stamp... god knows who has trained these VFS guys... every VFS has their own way of treating the applications....

they are filling some some form there in front of you.... in that there is option of DOT Required? (Date of travel) they need to fill that option....
then only we can get post dated visas

Hi reincarnation - we have done everything possible and the rest is with God. So sit back and relax for two-three weeks.I am sure all of us will hear good news.
Regarding post dated EC - I mentioned in my application and in the cover letter that i am planning to enter by 01-mar-08 ( if i get the EC). The guy in the VFS bangalore did not put any stamp. He even did not talk to me regarding the date.

Hummer..did you say you mentioned in the application form AND covering letter? I dont remember filling anything like that in the application form..Or am I missing anything? :O

I got a call from my office HR dept. and she told me that my date of birth in the integra form was 27 Feb 1960 and my company records say 4 Apr 1980. My DOB is 4 Apr 1980 and I asked her to fill it as how it was with the company records. Also my company name is xxx Corporation and in the form its mentioned as xxx Business House .
Now my question is, why did the integra guys fill some wierd DOB and send it to my company? I thought they just send a blank form and expect the HR to fill it? Does anyone have any clue whats happening?

rrst_101,

I wont be surprised if Integra had sent a wrong applicants detail to your company...cos there is no real connection in DOB or the company name mistmatch..both loooks totallky differnt from what you gave..

tel HR to fill the corect details as per the records..all de best..

It may not be of a different person coz rest of the details are correct. And even the company name, half of it is correct. Instead of corporation, they have used business house. And why did they already fill the form and send? Wasnt it my HRs job to fill?

Hi rrst_101,
I think for everybody they fills a form and sends to HR along with the
the scanned docs like appointment letter and salayslip,
Today my HR has also got similar mail , my HR is kind enough to forward to me the replay she has sent to Integra.

Don't worry ask your HR to fill the correct details and send it across.

rrst ,

in my case also , integra sent the DOB filled in my form - maybe it was a copy paste error on the part of the integra

Did you notice that the form asks - reason for us leaving the company

when we are still very much active employees of the company- my HR left that column blank

I havent seen the form. My HR called me up to verify if I had wrongly given some details while applying for visa. So when i asked her more details, she said in the integra form its mentioned wrongly. Then I asked her not to bother what is written there and just be careful about what u write before sending it back to integra.

Applied for EC on Jan 10th from VFS Bangalore.
Looks like December EC applications are still pending.

And i have also entered date of birth...

But it is returning invalid search...

Hi All,

I applied for EC in VFS mumbai
These are the date
09-JAN-08 Submitted the EC application in the VFS Mumbai
09-JAN-08 Forwarded the application to the BDHC mumbai
11-JAN-08 Got a call to my HR for verification .I exactly dont know what they are enquired from my HR.
14-JAN-08 sent a main to BDHC regarding the status of the application but not recived any reply
Now i am waiting for result ....

Anugandla,

Do not waste your time and money with SMS. That facility is not working exactly the way it should(As told by VFS). Track it on the web with the passport tracker. I too get the same message " Invalid Country code/Passport #".

Yes, i mentioned the post date in the application form and cover letter. i used "VAF2-10Dec07.pdf" file. on the first page of it you can find "On what date do you want to travel to the UK? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>". here you have to mention the post date (I believe and i did that).

It should happen during the first week of your submission...but u never know...when it comes to EC...anything can happen...so all we need to do is to sit and wait...
