Tier 2 in Country Extension

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to find out if anyone on here had applied for an extension of their tier 2 visa recently (June 2016) via the standard route how long did it take? I have submitted my application online on 20/06/2016>>>Posted the Docs on 22/06/22016>>>BRP enrolment letter received 28/06/2016>>>Enrolled Biometrics 2/7/2016.:

I have been waiting since. Previous application took 3 weeks. I am mindful the process can take upto 8 weeks. I thought the process was now faster. The anxiety is killing me.

Hello Simz82,

I had applied for my in country extension application on 06 July 2016, got my Biometrics letter on 26th July and enrolled my fingerprints on the same day. So thats taken 3 weeks and not sure if thats a normal timescale for Biometrics. I am in a nervous wait too.

Is 8 weeks counted from the day of Biometrics enrolment? I hope not

Hi Divu,

They say its 8 weeks from the day application is submitted. It seems there might be a back log considering the time it took to send biometrics letter.
