EEA national (A8), in the UK since 2005 (supplied documents covering 2009-2015 only)
Straight forward case hopefully

Same dates as the above and EEA national. I sure hope they do not take even more time that they already are taking.
To my surprise, I just received the confirmation email within one month of receipt of my document. Does it say it will be done within 6 months for everyone as a Standard service level agreement though or is that just a new thing they've introduced now?

Despite the expedience of the email, I am not confident that is an indication that my case will be finalised sharpish despite my best organised efforts.

Hi All
I applied for PR along with my children, both born in UK but Netherland national, 8 and 7 years old, both are in full time education, will they require Comprehensive Sickness Insurance? as they are dependant and in full time education, quite confusing, can any one help.

Got the email confirmation with Case ID today, which seems to be in line with what others experience when applying for PR confirmation. Glad to learn HO case workers are still managing to keep up with an undoubtedly increased workload.

We seem to be progressing at exactly the same pace! Good to have an indication of how things work for someone in the same situation.

Yeah, funny that. I am still pessimistic about actually getting it but at least I will know either way. Crazy to look at applications made in January which took 15-20 days for email and 2 months for the DCPR. Either way, I just want certainty in my life before that article 50 is activated.

I still have not heard from the HO and the six month mark is rapidly approaching... Any updates from applications around the same time?
This is so stressful..

Wasn’t there an article in the Guardian a couple of days ago, claiming that if all EU migrants had to register for PR at the same time, it would take the government 140 years to process? At least we’d be at the front of the queue! With any luck good news should come by the beginning of October.

They have always said 6 months regardless of whether you are EU or non-EU. This is to cover and stop people chasing them up. It just used to be that EU applications were a lot faster than that but the standard was the same.

There is no stipulation of "6 months" for processing DCPR under EU law and the Directive.

Did you have a "non-standard" application? Such as self-sufficiency? Mine is not the simplest and I'm wondering if that slows things down.
My was self suffiency , and my wife was relying on the self employment/ self employment of the non eea and her balance of her account was 20 pounds but but I was given her 60 pounds weekly and the statement were itemise as I labelled the transfer on my account as "house keep" and we have 2 kids together too.

that's great! I was worried as my wife's balances were not that substantial. My only worry now is whether our BUPA Heartbeat policy qualified as CSI. The language is so confusing!
